Coax-antennekabel ShiverPeaks 80205-128-GS, 100% afgeschermd, vergulde stekkers

The ShiverPeaks coaxial antenna cable 80205-128-GS is a 5.0 m RF connection cable engineered for stable antenna-to-receiver and transceiver links. It features full 100% shielding to minimize electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over the run. Gold-plated connectors provide reliable contact and corrosion resistance for long-term use in radio and antenna installations.

Advantages

Full 100% shielding offers high attenuation of external interference and reduces signal leakage, improving reception and transmission stability. Gold-plated contacts ensure consistent low-resistance connections and resist oxidation in varying environmental conditions. The cable is designed with an integrated common-mode current filter to suppress sheath currents and further reduce radio frequency disturbances. Its black jacket and robust construction support durable handling during installation and operation.

Suitable for

• Connecting external antennas to receivers, scanners and radios
• Linking transceivers and repeaters in fixed or mobile setups
• Use in environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required
• Amateur radio, marine radio, and professional RF installations

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5.0 m
• Shielding: 100% (full braid or foil shield)
• Contact plating: gold-plated connector surfaces
• Common-mode suppression: integrated sheath current filter
• Outer jacket color: black
• Shielding effectiveness: greater than 100 dB

How to use

Connect one gold-plated connector to the antenna output and the other to the receiver, transceiver or radio input, making sure connectors are fully seated and tightened if applicable. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends or crushing; maintain a minimum bend radius recommended for coaxial cables to preserve shielding and impedance. Verify signal levels after connection and adjust antenna placement if necessary to achieve the desired reception or transmission performance.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the cable length as short as practical for your installation to reduce insertion loss. Avoid running the cable in parallel with mains power lines and secure connectors against moisture when used outdoors. Periodically inspect gold-plated contacts for contamination and clean gently with appropriate contact cleaner if signal degradation is observed.
