Coax-connector F-type Hama 00179408 stekker 2 stuks

The Hama coaxial F-type male connector (pack of 2) is designed for secure connections in audio and video installations. These two white, screw-on connectors allow standard coaxial cables to be attached to equipment such as televisions, set-top boxes and satellite receivers. The compact design supports common household and professional AV setups where a durable threaded connection is required.

Advantages

These F-type male connectors provide a threaded, reliable electrical and mechanical connection that reduces signal loss at the junction between cable and device. Their simple screw-on mounting ensures quick installation without special tools for many cable types. The white finish offers a neutral appearance for visible installations and the two-piece pack supplies an extra connector for replacements or additional runs.

How to use

Strip the outer jacket and prepare the coaxial cable according to standard practice, ensuring the centre conductor and outer braid are exposed correctly for an F-type termination. Screw the connector onto the cable end until it seats firmly, then thread the connector onto the device’s F-type female jack until secure. Test the connection by checking signal quality on the connected device and re-tighten if necessary. For best results, avoid over-tightening and ensure the centre conductor is straight and makes solid contact.

Recommendations

Use these connectors with properly prepared RG-6 or compatible coaxial cables and avoid excessive bending at the connection point. For outdoor or moisture-prone installations, combine with appropriate weatherproofing measures such as sealing tape or protective covers to maintain signal reliability.
