Stekkerverbinder Kathrein EMU 09 F IEC zilver

The Kathrein EMU 09 F IEC Silver connector combines an IEC (male) connector and an F (female) connector in a single, screened adapter. It has a silver finish and is intended for use in signal transmission setups where compatibility between IEC and F-type connections is required. The adapter is built to industry screening class A and provides high attenuation of VHF and UHF interference.

Advantages

The adapter offers compatibility between IEC and F connections in one compact part and a durable silver-plated surface that resists corrosion. Its screening performance provides VHF/UHF attenuation above the specified values, helping to reduce signal interference and maintain signal integrity in domestic and professional installations.

How to use

Push the IEC male element into the IEC female socket on the device (for example a television or set-top box) and screw the F female thread onto the F male cable or wall outlet until secure. Ensure proper mechanical connection without over-tightening to avoid damaging connector threads. Check signal quality after installation and reposition or re-tighten connections if necessary.

Recommendations

For optimal performance maintain clean contact surfaces and avoid using damaged cables or connectors; if interference persists, verify shielding continuity in the installation and consider grounding measures per local electrical codes.
