Coax-tv-antennekabel ShiverPeaks 80203-128-GS 100 dB, verguld, 2,0 m

The ShiverPeaks coaxial TV antenna cable 80203-128-GS is a 2.0 m connection lead with gold-plated connectors and a high-shielding construction rated at 100 dB. It is intended for linking a television or set-top box to an over-the-air antenna or antenna distribution system in indoor environments. The cable’s gold-plated contacts and robust shielding support consistent signal transfer and reduce corrosion and interference in typical home installations.

Advantages

The cable offers high electromagnetic shielding to limit external interference and maintain signal integrity across the 2.0 m length. Gold-plated connectors improve contact reliability and resist corrosion, and the cable’s design includes measures to reduce common-mode currents and maintain impedance stability. Its black outer jacket provides standard mechanical protection suitable for concealed or visible indoor routing.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV to an external or rooftop antenna for terrestrial reception
• Linking set-top boxes, DVB-T/T2 receivers, and signal distribution amplifiers
• Indoor cable runs where a 2.0 m length is required
• Installations requiring corrosion-resistant, gold-plated contacts

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2.0 m
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts for improved corrosion resistance
• Shielding effectiveness: 100 dB nominal shielding
• Outer jacket color: black
• Designed impedance: 75 Ω (typical for TV/coax installations)

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the antenna output or wall socket and the other end to the TV or set-top box RF input. Ensure connectors are pushed on or threaded (depending on connector type) until secure to provide stable electrical contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks, or tight compression; maintain gentle curves and avoid running parallel to power cables for extended distances to reduce potential interference. For installations involving an antenna distribution system or amplifier, connect according to the system’s input/output labeling to preserve signal flow and levels.

Recommendations

For optimal reception, keep cable runs as short as practical and verify connector seating after any movement or maintenance. In environments with strong external interference, consider using additional shielding or a distribution amplifier with adjustable gain. Do not expose the cable to outdoor weather unless installed inside a weatherproof conduit; the product is intended for indoor use.
