Coaxconnector F-type ShiverPeaks BS85009-2R-10

The ShiverPeaks BS85009-2R-10 is a pack of 10 F-type coaxial connectors intended for creating reliable male F-type terminations on coaxial cables. Each connector provides a standard threaded male F interface compatible with TV, satellite and RF equipment. Designed for straightforward installation, these connectors support stable signal transmission and are suitable for both professional installers and DIY users working on antenna, cable TV or satellite wiring projects.

Advantages

These F-type connectors deliver consistent electrical contact and mechanical retention for coaxial leads, reducing signal loss when properly installed. Their threaded male interface ensures compatibility with a wide range of receivers, splitters and wall outlets. Supplied in a pack of ten, they offer a convenient quantity for multi-point installations or spare parts storage. The design balances durability with ease of termination for rapid assembly during on-site work.

Suitable for

• TV antenna cable terminations
• Satellite dish cable connections
• Coaxial cable repairs and replacements
• Home AV and set-top box installations

Key specifications

• Connector type: male F-type threaded coaxial connector
• Quantity: pack of 10 connectors
• Compatibility: standard coaxial cables used for TV and satellite (F-type interface)
• Application: RF signal termination for television, satellite and similar equipment

How to use

Strip the coaxial cable to the correct dimensions for the connector type, ensuring the centre conductor and outer braid are prepared according to the connector's installation method. Slide the connector onto the cable until it seats firmly and engage the threaded male interface to the mating female socket. Use appropriate tools or hand-tighten as required, taking care not to deform the centre conductor or compress the dielectric. Verify connection integrity by checking signal levels or image quality after installation.

Recommendations

For best results, use connectors matched to the cable diameter and follow manufacturer guidance for stripping and crimping or compression techniques. When installing multiple connectors, test each termination with a signal meter or by verifying TV/satellite reception to ensure minimal signal loss.
