Coaxiale BNC-kabel ShiverPeaks 77500 — RG-serie voor audio-/videoverbindingen

The Coaxial BNC Cable ShiverPeaks 77500 is a 0.5 m RG-series coax cable with standard BNC-to-BNC connectors designed for audio and video signal transmission. Built to provide stable 50 Ω impedance and low-loss connectivity, this cable links cameras, monitors, recorders and broadcast equipment in short- to medium-range installations. Its RG-series construction offers consistent shielding and conductor geometry to minimise signal degradation in analogue and digital A/V systems.

Advantages

The cable provides secure push-and-twist BNC coupling for quick, repeatable connections and a compact 0.5 m length that reduces excess cable clutter in rack and studio environments. The RG-series coaxial design maintains controlled impedance and shielding, which helps reduce interference and preserve signal integrity over short to moderate distances. The cable is suitable for frequent reconnections while delivering consistent performance for both analogue composite and digital signals where a 50 Ω line is required.

Suitable for

• Connecting CCTV or broadcast cameras to monitors and recorders
• Short patch runs in AV racks and control rooms
• Studio equipment interconnects for composite video or digital BNC signals
• Testing and temporary installations where a compact 0.5 m lead is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable type: RG-series coaxial (RG-58 class)
• Connector type: BNC male to BNC male (push-and-twist)
• Impedance: 50 Ω
• Length: 0.5 m
• Typical use: analogue composite and digital BNC signals
• Shielding: braided shield for EMI reduction

How to use

Align the male BNC connector with the female BNC jack, insert the connector and twist until it locks to ensure a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Use the 0.5 m cable for short link runs between devices to minimise signal attenuation and cable management issues. Disconnect by twisting and pulling the connector straight out; avoid bending the cable sharply near the connector to prevent stress on the conductor and shield. Inspect connectors visually before use to ensure cleanliness and correct seating.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable in environments where runs do not exceed short to medium distances and where a 50 Ω transmission line is required. Keep the cable away from strong RF sources and mains wiring to reduce potential interference, and handle connectors with care to maintain consistent contact and shielding.
