Coaxiale BNC-kabel ShiverPeaks 77600 RG voor audio-/videoverbindingen

The Coaxial BNC Cable ShiverPeaks 77600 RG for Audio/Video Connections is a 0.5 m coaxial lead with BNC male terminations designed for reliable transmission of analog and digital audio/video signals. Built using RG-type coaxial construction with a characteristic impedance of 75 ohms, this cable is intended for use with cameras, monitors, video recorders and professional AV equipment where low-interference, secure connections are required. The compact length and BNC fittings make it suitable for short runs, patching and linking devices in control rooms, studios and monitoring setups.

Advantages

The cable provides consistent impedance for minimal signal reflection and maintains good shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference in typical AV environments. BNC connectors ensure secure, twist-lock style connections that are quick to attach and detach while offering stable contact. The 0.5 m length makes installation straightforward in tight spaces and reduces excess cable bulk where short connections are needed.

Suitable for

• Connecting CCTV cameras to monitors or recorders
• Patching video signals in broadcast or production racks
• Linking professional audio/video equipment in studios
• Short-distance signal runs in control rooms and monitoring stations

Key specifications

• Connector type: BNC male to BNC male
• Cable type: RG-series coaxial
• Characteristic impedance: 75 ohm
• Length: 0.5 m
• Applications: analog and digital audio/video signal transmission

How to use

Ensure devices are powered off or set to a safe state before connecting the cable. Align each BNC connector with the corresponding jack, push in and twist until the connector locks. Verify the connection by checking signal presence on the receiving device and, if necessary, adjust device settings or routing. For disconnection, twist the BNC connectors to unlock and pull straight out. Avoid sharp bends near the connectors to preserve cable integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, route the cable away from high-voltage power lines and strong electromagnetic sources. Use the 0.5 m length for short links or patching panels; for longer runs choose appropriately rated coaxial cable to maintain signal quality. Regularly inspect connector integrity and replace the cable if shielding or connector contacts show wear.
