Coaxiale BNC-kabel ShiverPeaks 77602 RG (audio/video, enkeladerig)

ShiverPeaks 77602 RG coaxial BNC cable is designed for reliable audio and video signal transmission using a single central conductor and a grounded shield. The cable terminates in BNC male connectors on both ends, providing a secure bayonet-style connection compatible with cameras, monitors, broadcast devices and test equipment. Its RG-spec construction and 75 ohm characteristic impedance make it suitable for standard-definition video, composite signals and many analog or digital audio/video applications over short to medium distances.

Advantages

The cable combines a standardized RG impedance with BNC connectors to ensure consistent signal transfer and low reflection when used with compatible equipment. Its single-lead design simplifies installation in point-to-point setups, while the durable outer jacket and firmly crimped or soldered connector terminations resist mechanical wear. The familiar bayonet coupling enables quick connect/disconnect cycles and stable mating in rack-mounted or field environments.

Suitable for

• Composite video links between cameras and monitors
• Analog or digital audio/video routing in broadcast and production setups
• Connection of CCTV cameras and DVRs for surveillance systems
• Interfacing test instruments and signal generators with BNC inputs/outputs

Key specifications

• Cable type: coaxial, single central conductor
• Impedance: 75 ohm suitable for video and composite signals
• Connector type: BNC male to BNC male, bayonet coupling
• Usage length: designed for short to medium cable runs
• Shielding: braided shield with outer jacket for mechanical protection

How to use

Connect one BNC end to the output of the source device and the other end to the input of the receiving device, aligning the bayonet pins and twisting until the connector locks. Ensure the cable routing avoids sharp bends and excessive tension to maintain impedance and shielding integrity. For best results, use connectors and equipment rated for 75 ohm systems and verify connections visually and with test equipment when setting up signal-critical links.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, keep individual cable runs as short as practical, avoid running alongside high-power electrical cables, and inspect connector integrity periodically. When joining multiple segments, use purpose-built 75 ohm BNC couplers and minimize the number of connections to reduce potential signal loss.
