Coaxiale BNC-kabel ShiverPeaks 77615 RG (model 77615) voor video- en HF-verbindingen

The ShiverPeaks coaxial BNC cable 77615 RG is designed for carrying video and RF signals in professional and consumer environments. It features standardized BNC terminations on both ends for straightforward connections to cameras, monitors, signal routers and test equipment. The cable is intended for general-purpose signal transmission, supporting common analog and digital video and RF workflows with a characteristic impedance suited to typical broadcast and CCTV setups.

Advantages

This coaxial BNC cable provides reliable mechanical BNC coupling and stable electrical performance over its length. Its construction reduces signal loss and maintains impedance consistency for video and RF applications. The cable is suitable for on-site installations where a compact, flexible coaxial lead with secure BNC connectors is required.

Suitable for

• Connecting CCTV cameras to monitors and DVRs
• Interfacing video test equipment and signal generators
• Short-run RF signal connections in broadcast setups
• Temporary on-site cabling for inspections and diagnostics

Key specifications

• Connector type: BNC male to BNC male
• Cable type: coaxial RG category suitable for 75 Ω systems
• Impedance: 75 ohm characteristic impedance for video/RF compatibility
• Compliance: manufactured to common safety and RoHS guidelines for electronic cabling
• Length: available in a 15 m variant suitable for moderate-distance runs

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting the cable. Align the BNC connector pins with the equipment sockets and push the connector onto the socket, then twist the coupling nut clockwise until it locks to secure the connection. Avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable; maintain a gentle bending radius to preserve impedance and minimize signal degradation. For removal, twist the coupling nut counterclockwise and pull the connector straight off the socket.

Recommendations

For best signal integrity, keep cable runs as short as practical and avoid routing alongside high-voltage power lines or large motors. Use proper strain relief at connection points and inspect connectors periodically for corrosion or wear. When integrating into permanent installations, consider additional shielding or conduit where mechanical protection or extended environmental exposure is expected.
