Coaxkabel RG-59/U 1,5 m ShiverPeaks SP80092

The ShiverPeaks SP80092 is a 1.5 m RG-59/U coaxial cable with F-connectors on both ends, intended for reliable transmission of audio and video signals. Its construction follows RG-59/U standards for impedance and shielding, providing stable connections for cable TV, satellite receivers and other AV equipment. The cable features a blue outer jacket with chrome-plated connector finishes designed to resist corrosion and maintain contact quality over time.

Advantages

This RG-59/U coaxial cable delivers consistent signal transfer for short to medium runs, with compatible F-type connectors that ensure secure mechanical and electrical connection to consumer AV devices. The chrome-plated connector surfaces reduce oxidation, while the cable jacket provides mechanical protection and flexibility for typical home and installation environments. Its 1.5 m length fits common use cases where devices are placed within close proximity.

Suitable for

• Connecting cable television set-top boxes to wall outlets
• Linking satellite receivers to an indoor distribution point
• Connecting DVRs, analog or digital tuners and other AV devices
• Short runs between equipment in living rooms, media cabinets or small installations

Key specifications

• Cable type: RG-59/U coaxial
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connector type: F-connector on both ends, chrome-plated
• Outer jacket color: blue
• Intended use: audio/video and RF signal transmission

How to use

Before connecting, ensure both devices and wall outlet connectors are free of dust and debris. Firmly screw the F-connector onto the mating threaded socket until hand-tight; avoid excessive force to prevent damage to connectors. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching, maintaining gentle curves to preserve impedance characteristics. When disconnecting, unscrew the connector by hand rather than pulling on the cable jacket to protect the internal conductor and connector integrity.

Recommendations

Use this 1.5 m RG-59/U cable for short-distance AV connections where RG-59 impedance and F-type connectors are appropriate. For longer runs or applications requiring lower loss at higher frequencies, consider using RG-6 or professionally specified coaxial cable types. Store spare cables coiled without tight kinks and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to maintain jacket flexibility and lifespan.
