Coaxkabel ShiverPeaks 81900-8-PSP 100 m zwart wit

The ShiverPeaks coaxial cable model 81900-8-PSP is a 100 m cable supplied in a black and white color combination. Designed for signal transmission with a shielding effectiveness of 110 dB, this coaxial cable provides stable performance in installations where interference suppression and consistent impedance are important. The product is supplied as a single roll and is intended for indoor and protected outdoor use where a long continuous run of coaxial cable is required.

Advantages

The cable offers high shielding effectiveness of 110 dB to minimise electromagnetic interference and preserve signal integrity over long distances. Its 100 m length reduces the number of joins needed in a run, simplifying installation and reducing potential points of failure. The black and white coloration supports clearer visual routing and easier identification in mixed-cable environments. The cable construction is suitable for a variety of coaxial applications and provides consistent electrical characteristics along the full length.

Suitable for

• TV antenna and satellite system cabling
• CCTV and video surveillance installations
• Signal distribution in residential and commercial buildings
• Audio/video transmission for professional AV setups

Key specifications

• Cable length: 100 m
• Shielding effectiveness: 110 dB
• Color: black and white
• Form factor: coaxial cable on a single roll

How to use

Unwind the cable from the roll and route it along the planned cable path, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Cut to length at the installation points and prepare the conductor and dielectric according to the connector manufacturer's instructions. Fit appropriate coaxial connectors or feed-through fittings and verify impedance matching with the connected equipment. Test signal levels and continuity after termination to ensure correct installation.

Recommendations

For best results, keep bend radius above the minimum specified by the connector manufacturer, protect exposed cable runs from moisture and mechanical damage, and use matching connectors and grounding where required to maintain the specified shielding performance.
