Coaxkabel ShiverPeaks BS80025-128S 5m IEC zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS80025-128S 5m IEC Black is a coaxial cable designed for reliable audio and video signal transmission. With IEC connectors on both ends and a length of five meters, this cable is intended to connect TVs, satellite receivers, set-top boxes and other consumer AV equipment. The black jacket provides durable insulation while maintaining flexibility for routing behind furniture or through entertainment cabinets.

Advantages

This coaxial cable provides consistent signal transfer for both analogue and digital broadcasts thanks to its standard IEC terminations. Its 5 m length offers extended reach without the need for adapters or additional joints, reducing potential points of signal loss. The flexible black outer sheath resists everyday bending and makes installation simpler in tight spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting televisions to antenna outlets or wall sockets
• Linking satellite receivers and set-top boxes to TV inputs
• Extending or replacing existing IEC coax connections in home or small professional AV setups

Key specifications

• Cable type: coaxial (IEC to IEC)
• Length: 5 metres
• Connector type: male IEC on both ends
• Outer colour: black
• Construction: flexible jacket for easier routing

How to use

Locate the IEC antenna or input sockets on your TV and on the source device. Align each IEC connector with the corresponding socket and push straight in until it seats securely; no tools are required. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tension; leave slight slack at each connection to prevent stress on the connectors. For wall-mounted equipment, secure the cable with suitable clips or ties to prevent sagging and accidental disconnection.

Recommendations

For optimal reception, keep cable runs as short as practical and avoid running the coaxial cable parallel to mains power cables for long distances. Inspect connectors periodically for corrosion or loose fit, and replace the cable if insulating damage or persistent signal dropouts occur.
