Coaxkabel ShiverPeaks BS80085-32 5 m IEC wit

The ShiverPeaks BS80085-32 5 m IEC White coaxial cable provides a 5-metre connection with IEC male connectors on both ends designed for audio and video signal transmission. Its construction focuses on maintaining signal integrity between devices such as TVs, set-top boxes, radios and tuners while fitting discreetly into domestic installations due to the white jacket and moderate length.

Advantages

This coaxial cable offers stable signal transfer for terrestrial and some consumer audio/video applications thanks to its consistent impedance and shielding. The 5 m length gives flexibility in device placement without excess slack, and the white outer sheath helps it blend with typical interior surfaces. Connectors on both ends are compatible with common IEC sockets, enabling straightforward installation in most home entertainment setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV to a wall antenna socket or set-top box
• Linking radio receivers and tuners to antenna inputs
• Replacing an existing coaxial lead in a living room or bedroom setup
• Temporary or permanent installations where a 5 m white cable matches room design

Key specifications

• Cable type: coaxial cable with IEC connectors
• Length: 5 metres
• Connector type: IEC male to IEC male
• Outer colour: white
• Intended use: audio and video signal transmission for consumer devices

How to use

Insert each IEC connector firmly into the corresponding IEC socket on the devices you are connecting, ensuring a snug fit without forcing the connector. Route the cable to avoid tight bends or pinching and keep it away from high-voltage power cables to minimise interference. After connection, check the signal on the receiving device and adjust the cable routing if necessary to achieve the best picture or audio quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and kinks and keep the cable away from mains power cords and large appliances that may cause interference. Use the 5 m length to position devices with minimal coiling; if you need a longer run, select a longer dedicated coaxial cable to prevent signal loss.
