Coaxkabel ShiverPeaks BS80205-128-G 5m IEC wit

The ShiverPeaks BS80205-128-G 5m IEC White coaxial cable provides a straightforward connection solution for audio and video devices that use standard IEC female/male coaxial ports. With a 5-metre length and a neutral white jacket, this cable is designed to deliver stable signal transmission for consumer and light professional applications where a reliable RF or analogue video link is required.

Advantages

This coaxial cable combines a fixed 5 m length with IEC-to-IEC connectors for plug-and-play compatibility with televisions, set-top boxes, radios and other AV equipment. The white outer jacket offers a discreet appearance in home installations and easy routing along walls or behind furniture. Construction focuses on signal continuity and durability to reduce loss and intermittent connection issues over normal usage periods.

Suitable for

• Connecting television sets to digital or analogue set-top boxes
• Linking radios and tuners to roof or indoor antennas
• Audio-visual signal runs in living rooms and media cabinets
• Temporary or permanent installations where a 5 m length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Cable type: coaxial
• Connector type: IEC male to IEC male (standard IEC coaxial)
• Length: 5 metres
• Outer colour: white
• Intended use: RF and analogue video/audio signal transmission

How to use

Connect one IEC connector to the IEC input or output of your device and the other connector to the corresponding port on the receiving device. Ensure connectors are fully seated in the device sockets for a stable connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from high-power electrical cables and strong electromagnetic sources to minimise interference. If you need to route the cable along walls or behind cabinets, use appropriate clips or cable ties to secure it without compressing the cable.

Recommendations

For best performance, verify that both connected devices support the signal type you intend to transmit (RF, analogue video or audio). Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and keep the cable length as short as practical to reduce potential signal attenuation. Replace the cable if outer insulation is damaged or if you notice intermittent signal loss.
