Coaxkabel ShiverPeaks BS80208-128-GS 10m IEC zwart

The ShiverPeaks BS80208-128-GS 10m IEC Black coaxial cable provides a straightforward solution for connecting audio and video equipment that use IEC-type coaxial connectors. With a 10-meter length and standard IEC plugs on both ends, this cable facilitates stable signal transmission between televisions, set-top boxes, radios, and other consumer AV devices. The cable's black jacket and flexible construction are designed for in-room routing and concealed installation behind furniture or entertainment units.

Advantages

This coaxial cable offers consistent impedance and shielding to reduce signal loss and interference over its 10 m length. The IEC connectors at each end are compatible with common consumer AV sockets, ensuring secure mechanical and electrical contact. The durable outer jacket resists bending and abrasion during installation, while the cable's construction supports reliable long-term performance for standard-definition and digital signals where an IEC coaxial connection is appropriate.

Suitable for

• Connecting a television to a set-top box or antenna with IEC coaxial sockets
• Linking radio tuners or audio equipment that accept IEC coaxial input
• Routing signals within home entertainment systems and media cabinets
• Temporary or permanent in-room cable runs up to 10 meters

Key specifications

• Cable type: coaxial with IEC male connectors on both ends
• Length: 10 meters
• Color: black
• Outer jacket: flexible PVC for indoor use
• Typical use: analogue and digital RF signal transmission for consumer AV devices

How to use

Connect one IEC plug to the coaxial socket on the signal source (for example, a set-top box, antenna output, or radio) and the other IEC plug to the input on the receiving device (for example, a television or tuner). Ensure connectors are fully seated in their sockets to maintain good electrical contact. Avoid sharp bends or kinks along the cable length and route the cable away from power lines and sources of electromagnetic interference where possible.

Recommendations

For best results, use this cable for in-home AV connections up to 10 m. Inspect connectors for dirt or damage before connecting; clean gently with a dry cloth if necessary. If you require outdoor installation, burial, or extended run lengths beyond 10 m, choose a cable specified for those conditions to maintain signal integrity and safety.
