Coaxstekker F-type ShiverPeaks BS85002-A

The ShiverPeaks BS85002-A Coaxial Connector F-type is a single, male 4 mm connector designed for secure and consistent connections in television and satellite installations. Manufactured to provide dependable signal transmission, this F-type connector is suitable for terminating coaxial cables where a compact male interface is required. The product is sold individually and intended for applications that demand a straightforward, robust mechanical and electrical coupling.

Advantages

This F-type connector offers stable contact and low signal loss through a 4 mm male pin geometry that aligns with common coaxial cable cores. The connector’s construction emphasizes durability for repeated assembly and disassembly while maintaining electrical continuity. Its compact form factor simplifies installation in tight spaces and on wall plates or devices that accept standard F-type male fittings.

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type, male
• Center pin diameter: 4 mm
• Sold: single unit
• Compatibility: standard coaxial cables used for TV and satellite signals
• Typical applications: signal transmission for RF, TV and satellite

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to expose the conductor according to the connector’s installation requirements. Insert the cable so that the central conductor aligns with the 4 mm male pin and ensure the braid makes secure contact with the connector body. Tighten or crimp the connector as specified for the chosen assembly method, then test the connection for continuity and signal quality before final installation.

Recommendations

Use appropriate cable stripping tools and follow safety practices when preparing and installing the connector. For best signal performance, avoid excessive bending or strain on the cable near the connection point and verify compatibility with the receiving device or wall plate before installation.
