Coaxstekker F-type ShiverPeaks BS85012-10AG

The ShiverPeaks BS85012-10AG is a pack of 10 F-type coaxial connectors with male gender, created for use in audio and video signal cabling. Each connector is sized for standard coaxial cables and terminals, offering a compact metal body and threaded coupling for a stable physical connection. The product is intended for assembly into home or professional installations where consistent RF signal transmission and mechanical durability are required.

Advantages

These coaxial connectors provide a reliable threaded connection that minimizes signal loss and maintains contact integrity over repeated installations. Their metal construction enhances shielding and mechanical strength, while the standard F-type male design ensures wide compatibility with consumer and professional audio/video equipment. The pack of 10 supports small installation projects or spares for maintenance.

Suitable for

• Connecting TV antennas and satellite receivers
• Hooking up cable TV and set-top boxes
• Wiring RF distribution in home entertainment systems
• Repairs and small-scale installations of coaxial cable networks

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type, male
• Quantity: 10 pieces per pack
• Body material: metal housing for improved shielding and durability
• Cable compatibility: designed for standard coaxial cable sizes used in TV and satellite systems
• Coupling: threaded connection for secure mechanical fit

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid, and dielectric to the recommended lengths for the chosen connector type. Slide the connector onto the prepared cable end until the central conductor seats in the male pin and the body threads engage the cable sheath. Secure the connector by tightening the threaded coupling by hand and then use an appropriate tool to finish tightening if required, avoiding excessive torque that could deform the connector or cable. Verify the connection for firm seating and test the signal with the target device or a signal meter.

Recommendations

For best results, use connectors matched to the coaxial cable diameter and perform visual inspection after assembly to ensure the central conductor is centered and not shorting to the braid. Follow standard RF installation practices, avoid sharp cable bends near the connector, and keep spare connectors from this 10-piece pack for maintenance or future expansion.
