Conceptronic ABBY13B Gigabit Ethernet USB 3.2 Gen 1 adapter met USB-hub, GbE, USB-A x 2, USB-C x 2

The Gigabit Ethernet USB 3.2 Gen 1 Adapter with USB Hub provides a wired network connection through a laptop's USB port while also offering additional USB ports for peripherals. It is suitable for MacBook and Windows laptops that lack a built-in Ethernet jack, enabling stable wired internet access and simultaneous connection of devices such as external drives, cameras, printers or media players.

Advantages

The adapter supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds over a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface and integrates a multi-port USB hub, combining network connectivity and peripheral expansion in a single compact device. It requires no separate network card and is compatible with common USB-powered accessories, simplifying connectivity for laptops with limited ports.

Key specifications

• Interface: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB-A/C compatibility depends on cable/adapter)
• Network: Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps)
• Ports: Ethernet port plus multiple USB ports (hub)
• Compatibility: MacBook and Windows laptops without built-in Ethernet
• Use case: Wired internet access and connecting USB peripherals

How to use

Connect the adapter to the laptop's USB port, plug an Ethernet cable into the adapter's RJ45 port, and attach any USB peripherals to the hub ports. The operating system should detect the adapter and install drivers automatically or prompt for driver installation if needed. After setup, the laptop will use the wired network while allowing access to connected USB devices.

Recommendations

Use a quality Ethernet cable and ensure the laptop's USB port supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 for optimal Gigabit performance; check for driver updates from the adapter manufacturer for best compatibility.
