Connector Kathrein EMU 08 F zilver

The Kathrein EMU 08 F Silver is a compact connector with two F-type connections and an IEC socket, designed for reliable RF signal transmission in TV and radio installations. The connector's silver finish provides corrosion resistance and a durable exterior for long-term use.

Advantages

This connector offers stable signal transmission with high shielding performance: VHF attenuation greater than 85 dB and UHF attenuation greater than 75 dB. The F-to-IEC interface simplifies connections between F-type cables and IEC devices, and the compact design is suitable for tight installation spaces.

How to use

Insert the F-type coaxial cable into the F socket and connect the IEC plug to the corresponding IEC socket on the device. Ensure both connections are seated firmly to maintain shielding and signal integrity. No special tools are required for standard push-on or screw-type F connectors; follow cable manufacturer guidance if crimping or compression fittings are used.

Recommendations

For best performance, use with well-shielded coaxial cables and avoid tight bends near the connector. Verify compatibility with your devices' sockets and inspect connections periodically for corrosion or looseness.
