Contactgrill JATA JEGR1107 1000W zwart RVS draaiknop

The JATA JEGR1107 contact grill combines a compact black and stainless steel body with 1000W power and a rotary control for straightforward temperature adjustment. Designed for domestic kitchens, the grill offers two heated plates that close together to press and cook food evenly. Its adjustable thermostat lets you set grilling intensity for different recipes while the stainless-steel accents provide a durable, easy-to-clean surface.

Advantages

The 1000W heating element reaches cooking temperature quickly, enabling fast searing and even heat distribution across both plates. The rotary control provides precise, incremental temperature selection for consistent results with sandwiches, meats and vegetables. A compact footprint makes the unit suitable for limited counter space, and the stainless-steel trim improves resistance to stains and simplifies surface cleaning. The design includes a close-clamping mechanism that promotes faster cooking and grill marks without requiring large quantities of oil.

Suitable for

• Grilling sandwiches, paninis and toasties
• Cooking thin cuts of meat such as chicken breasts, pork chops and burgers
• Grilling vegetables and halloumi-style cheeses
• Quick meal preparation in small kitchens and student accommodation

Key specifications

• Rated power: 1000W for efficient heat-up and grilling
• Body finish: black housing with stainless-steel elements for durability
• Temperature control: rotary adjustable thermostat for precise setting
• Form factor: compact clamshell contact grill suitable for countertop use

How to use

Place the grill on a stable, heat-resistant surface and connect it to a properly grounded outlet. Preheat the unit by turning the rotary control to the desired setting; wait until the indicator shows the selected temperature. Lightly oil food if desired and position items on the lower plate, then close the top plate to the required pressure. Monitor cooking progress and adjust the rotary thermostat as needed for browning and doneness. After use, switch off and unplug the grill and allow it to cool before cleaning any surfaces.

Recommendations

For best results, preheat the contact grill and use moderate amounts of oil to avoid smoke. Thin cuts cook rapidly at higher settings, while thicker items benefit from lower heat and longer time. Clean plates when cooled using a damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid abrasive cleaners to maintain the stainless-steel finish.
