CPU-koeler-ventilator Cooler Master Fan Mobius 120 slank, 120 mm slanke PWM-ventilator, model MFZ-S2NN-25NPK-R1

Cooler Master Fan Mobius 120 Slim is a 120 mm slim-profile PWM fan engineered for tight PC layouts and CPU cooling configurations. With a reduced thickness compared to standard 25 mm fans, this slim fan enables installation in compact cases, dense stacked-fan arrangements or close-clearance heatsink and radiator mounts. PWM control provides automatic speed adjustment to balance airflow and acoustic performance, making the fan suitable for both case ventilation and direct cooling of components.

Advantages

The slim 120 mm frame allows installation where space is limited without sacrificing mounting compatibility for standard 120 mm holes. PWM control ensures precise fan speed modulation based on motherboard or controller signals, supporting efficient thermal management. The design focuses on a balance of airflow and reduced noise at typical operating speeds, enabling use in small form factor systems and multi-fan configurations.

Suitable for

• Compact and small form factor PC cases with limited fan clearance
• CPU coolers and low-profile heatsinks that require reduced fan thickness
• Stacked fan configurations or tight radiator mounts in confined layouts
• Case ventilation where PWM speed control is required

Key specifications

• Fan size: 120 mm slim-profile frame
• Control type: PWM (pulse-width modulation) for automatic speed control
• Mount compatibility: standard 120 mm mounting hole pattern with reduced thickness
• Application: case ventilation, heatsink or radiator mounting in constrained spaces

How to use

Install the fan using the standard 120 mm mounting points in the case, cooler shroud or radiator bracket, taking into account its slim thickness to ensure proper clearance. Connect the PWM cable to a motherboard 4-pin fan header or a compatible fan controller that supports PWM. Configure fan curves in BIOS or software to set desired temperature-to-speed response, and, if stacking multiple slim fans, maintain consistent airflow direction and adequate spacing for optimal performance.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, verify clearance around the mounting area before installation, and use PWM fan headers for automatic speed regulation. When used in stacked configurations or close to radiators, monitor temperatures after installation to confirm sufficient airflow and adjust PWM curves if needed.
