Curver Deco pedaalemmer rond 50L zwart zilver metallic-effect

In a busy kitchen, the last thing anyone wants is a bin that's awkward to use or an eyesore. The Curver Deco Pedal Bin sits neatly against a wall or island, its round silhouette and metallic-effect finish blending with modern appliances. A light press on the foot pedal lifts the lid, and the soft-close mechanism lets it glide down without a bang—even when hands are full of vegetable peelings or packaging.

Why choose it

This bin combines everyday practicality with a premium look. The metallic-effect finish resists fingerprints, so it stays looking clean between wipe-downs. The removable inner bucket means you can carry waste to the outdoor bin without dragging the whole unit, and the soft-close lid protects both your ears and the bin’s hinges. Polypropylene construction keeps it light enough to move for cleaning, yet tough enough to shrug off knocks from a vacuum cleaner or a passing shopping bag.

Ideal use cases

• Kitchen: Handles daily food waste, packaging, and general household rubbish
• Utility room: A stylish step up from a basic plastic bin, holding cleaning cloths and lint
• Home office or study: Discreet enough for paper waste without looking industrial
• Shared spaces: The pedal operation keeps hands clean, ideal for family kitchens

Good to know

The bin is designed for indoor use and should not be left outside in direct weather. To clean, simply wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent; the inner bucket can be rinsed in a sink or with a hose. The soft-close mechanism is integrated into the lid hinge and requires no adjustment. With a 50-litre capacity, it fits standard bin liners (50–60 litre size) without slipping down. The round shape means it can be tucked into corners more easily than rectangular bins of the same volume.
