D-Link GO-SW-24G unmanaged L2 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) 1U zwart

The D-Link Unmanaged Switch GO-SW-24G is a 24-port Gigabit Ethernet desktop/rack-mount switch designed for SOHO and small to medium businesses that need a cost-effective, plug-and-play way to expand wired network capacity. It provides 24 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ‑45 ports, full-duplex operation and an unmanaged Layer 2 design that requires no configuration while delivering a switching capacity suitable for typical office file transfers, streaming and online activities.

Advantages

This unmanaged switch supports Gigabit speeds on all 24 ports, LED link/activity indicators per port, Auto-MDI/MDIX for simplified cable connections and IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet to reduce power consumption when devices are idle or when shorter cables are used. IEEE 802.3x flow control helps minimize packet loss under congestion. The compact 1U-compatible form factor and black finish are suitable for desktop placement or rack mounting in small server rooms.

Suitable for

• Expanding wired networks in small offices or home offices (SOHO)
• Connecting multiple PCs, NAS devices and printers at Gigabit speeds
• Small to medium-sized network edge deployments requiring simple, unmanaged switching
• Multiplayer gaming, media streaming and fast file transfers within a local network

Key specifications

• Ports: 24 x 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45
• Switch type: Unmanaged L2
• Switching capacity: 48 Gbit/s (full duplex)
• MAC address table: 8000 entries
• Standards: IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab, 802.3az, 802.1p, 802.3x
• Weight: 1.35 kg

How to use

Place the switch on a stable surface or mount it in a 1U rack if required. Connect the power adapter and use standard Ethernet cables to connect your PCs, servers, NAS units or other networked devices to the RJ‑45 ports. The switch is unmanaged and requires no configuration — devices will acquire network connectivity automatically. Observe the front-panel LEDs to verify link and activity status.

Recommendations

Use quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables to achieve full Gigabit performance; ensure adequate ventilation around the device to avoid overheating. For best results in small networks, connect high-traffic devices (servers, NAS) to the switch and distribute client devices across remaining ports to balance loads.
