Dahua HDCVI bulletcamera 2MP HAC-HFW2241E-A 2,8mm lens met ingebouwde IR

The Dahua HDCVI bullet camera HAC-HFW2241E-A with a 2.8mm fixed lens is a 2MP outdoor surveillance camera designed for analog HDCVI video-over-coax systems. It delivers 2 megapixel resolution video and integrates built-in infrared LEDs to support night-time monitoring. The compact bullet form factor and weather-resistant housing make it suitable for perimeter and entrance coverage where reliable wired transmission and straightforward installation are required.

Advantages

This HDCVI bullet camera provides 2MP image quality over coaxial cabling, enabling detailed monitoring without replacing existing analog infrastructure. The 2.8mm lens offers a wide field of view for general area coverage, while the integrated IR illumination allows continuous monitoring in low-light or no-light conditions. The camera’s outdoor-rated housing simplifies deployment on walls or poles and its compatibility with HDCVI transmission preserves real-time video with low latency.

Suitable for

• Perimeter surveillance of residential and commercial properties
• Entrance and gateway monitoring
• Parking lots and outdoor site monitoring
• Upgrading or expanding wired analog/HDCVI systems

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the camera on a stable surface such as a wall or pole using compatible mounting brackets, orienting the 2.8mm lens to cover the desired scene. Connect the camera to an HDCVI-compatible DVR or transmission device using coaxial cable and provide power according to the installation environment. Adjust camera angle and focus if required, then verify the video feed on the recorder or monitor to ensure the field of view and night-time performance meet coverage requirements.

Recommendations

Place the camera at an appropriate height to reduce tampering and to maximize the effectiveness of the 2.8mm lens. For best night-time results, avoid pointing the camera directly at reflective surfaces. Use quality coaxial cable and proper grounding to maintain stable HDCVI transmission and image quality.
