Dahua Technology managed L2 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) Power over Ethernet (PoE) zwart

DAHUA SG4028LP is an L2 network switch with four PoE ports and a total PoE budget of 240 W. It supplies both power and data over Ethernet to compatible devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points, and is intended for small to medium surveillance and network deployments where a compact switch with substantial PoE capacity is needed.

Advantages

The switch offers a 240 W PoE power budget across four ports, an inbuilt power supply, and a switching capacity of 56 Gbps with a forwarding rate of 41.66 Mpps. Its metal chassis measures 440 × 220 × 44 mm and the unit weighs 2.37 kg. The operating temperature range from −10 °C to +55 °C supports installations in a variety of indoor and sheltered environments.

Suitable for

• Small to medium CCTV and IP camera installations
• Indoor wireless access point deployments requiring PoE
• Edge network aggregation where limited PoE ports with high power are needed

Key specifications

• Model: DAHUA SG4028LP
• Switch type: L2
• PoE ports: 4
• PoE power budget: 240 W
• Switching capacity: 56 Gbps
• Forwarding rate: 41.66 Mpps
• Power supply: Inbuilt (PoE capable)
• Operating temperature: −10 °C to +55 °C
• Dimensions: 440 mm × 220 mm × 44 mm
• Net weight: 2.37 kg

How to use

Install the SG4028LP on a stable surface or in a rack space that accommodates its 1U height. Connect the inbuilt power cord to a suitable mains outlet. Link IP cameras, access points or other PoE devices to the PoE-capable Ethernet ports using standard Cat5e or better cables; the switch will deliver power and data over the same cable. Use remaining non-PoE ports for uplink to a router or core switch as required. Observe the total PoE budget when connecting multiple devices to avoid exceeding the 240 W limit.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, plan the power requirements of connected devices so the combined PoE consumption does not exceed 240 W. Use quality Ethernet cables (Cat5e/Cat6) and provide adequate ventilation around the unit; if deployed in a rack, ensure compliance with the device’s operating temperature range.
