Dahua Technology PFS3008-8GT-96 Netwerkswitch Unmanaged L2 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) Power over Ethernet (PoE) Zwart

The Dahua Technology PFS3008-8GT-96 is an unmanaged L2 Gigabit Ethernet switch with eight Gigabit RJ-45 ports and integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) support. Designed for straightforward network deployments, this compact black switch provides a switching capacity of 20 Gbit/s and an 8k MAC address table to handle typical small- to medium-scale connectivity needs. The unit complies with common IEEE networking standards and accepts a DC input voltage of 48–57 V, enabling centralized power delivery to compatible devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points.

Advantages

The PFS3008-8GT-96 offers plug-and-play operation as an unmanaged switch, requiring no configuration while delivering full Gigabit throughput on each RJ-45 port. Built-in PoE simplifies installation by supplying power and data over the same cable to PoE-capable devices, reducing cabling and power outlet requirements. With support for established IEEE standards, the switch ensures interoperability with a wide range of network equipment and provides a compact, lightweight solution for corridor, office, or small server-room deployments.

Suitable for

• Connecting and powering IP surveillance cameras in small to medium systems
• Deploying wireless access points in offices, stores, or public areas
• Basic network expansion for small offices and retail locations
• Edge aggregation where unmanaged, reliable Gigabit ports are sufficient

How to use

Install the Dahua PFS3008-8GT-96 on a flat surface or mount it according to site requirements, ensure a suitable DC power supply providing 48–57 V is available, then connect network devices using standard Cat5e or Cat6 cables. Devices that support PoE will receive power automatically when connected to PoE-enabled ports; non-PoE devices will operate as standard Ethernet endpoints. Because the switch is unmanaged, no software configuration is required—once connected, devices should obtain network connectivity via their own network settings or a DHCP server on the network.

Recommendations

Use quality shielded or unshielded twisted-pair cables (Cat5e or better) for reliable Gigabit links, verify power budget and PoE class requirements of connected devices before deployment, and place the switch in a ventilated area away from direct heat sources to maintain stable operation.
