Switch DAHUA CS4010-8GT-110 PoE 10-poorts, 8 PoE-poorten

DAHUA CS4010-8GT-110 is a 10-port network switch with eight Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports designed to deliver both data and power to IP devices over a single Ethernet cable. The switch provides centralized Ethernet switching for small to medium surveillance and network installations, enabling simplified cabling and reliable connectivity for cameras, wireless access points and other PoE-enabled devices.

Advantages

The switch integrates PoE power delivery with standard Ethernet switching to reduce separate power cabling and installation complexity. It supports multiple powered endpoints and centralized management of network connections, which helps maintain consistent data throughput and device uptime. Compact form factor and straightforward port layout allow flexible placement in server rooms, network cabinets or close to edge devices. The design emphasizes compatibility with common IP surveillance and network equipment, enabling a unified solution for powering and connecting devices.

How to use

Install the switch on a stable surface or mount it in a cabinet following standard ventilation and clearance practices. Connect the switch to a network uplink using one of the non-PoE or uplink-capable ports and attach PoE-enabled devices such as IP cameras or access points to the PoE ports using Cat5e or Cat6 cables. Ensure the total PoE power budget is not exceeded when multiple devices draw power simultaneously. Configure connected network devices through their respective management interfaces; the switch provides transparent Ethernet connectivity and requires minimal switch-level configuration for basic deployments.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use quality shielded or unshielded twisted-pair cables (Cat5e/Cat6) and calculate connected devices' combined power draw to stay within the switch's PoE budget. Place the unit in a ventilated environment away from direct heat sources and follow local safety rules when routing cables and powering network equipment.
