Dallmeier RDF5120DN E (3-10 mm)

The Dallmeier RDF5120DN E stands apart from typical dome cameras by pairing a motorized 3–10 mm varifocal lens with true day/night capability and adaptive IR illumination—all in a rugged, IP66- and IK10-rated housing. This 2-megapixel network camera delivers Full HD 1080p video at 30 fps, ensuring smooth, detailed footage for demanding surveillance environments.

Highlights

• 2 MP CMOS sensor with Full HD 1080p resolution
• Motor-driven varifocal lens: 3–10 mm focal length
• True day/night with mechanical IR cut filter
• Integrated adaptive IR LEDs for zero-light operation
• H.264 and MJPEG compression for efficient storage
• Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) for challenging lighting
• IP66 weatherproof and IK10 vandal-resistant aluminum housing
• Flexible power: PoE (802.3af) or 12V DC

In daily use

Whether monitoring a parking lot, building entrance, or perimeter, the RDF5120DN E adapts to the scene. The motorized zoom allows remote adjustment of the field of view, eliminating the need for manual lens changes. Adaptive IR LEDs automatically adjust intensity to prevent overexposure of close objects while illuminating distant areas. With a minimum illumination of 0 lux in IR mode, the camera continues to capture clear black-and-white images in complete darkness. Audio and alarm I/O ports enable integration with external sensors and speakers, while the microSDXC slot provides onboard recording redundancy.
