Dashcam Tellur Dash Patrol DC2 FullHD 1080P GPS zwart

The Tellur Dash Patrol DC2 FullHD 1080P GPS is a compact car dash cam designed to record clear front-view video while driving. It captures Full HD 1080p footage and records vehicle position and speed via the integrated GPS. The wide-angle lens provides broad coverage of the road ahead, while night vision improves visibility in low-light conditions. A built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts and automatically locks related recordings to prevent accidental overwrite, helping preserve important evidence after incidents.

Advantages

This dash cam combines Full HD 1080p recording with GPS logging to deliver time-, location- and speed-stamped video suitable for driving documentation and incident review. The wide-angle optical design increases scene coverage, reducing blind spots directly ahead of the vehicle. Night vision functionality enhances image detail in low-light driving situations. The compact form factor simplifies installation and placement behind the rear-view mirror, keeping the device unobtrusive. Automatic G-sensor protection ensures critical events are saved securely without manual intervention.

Suitable for

• Recording daily commutes and long trips for documentation
• Capturing evidence in case of accidents or traffic incidents
• Monitoring driving behavior during fleet operations or rentals
• Improving situational awareness on night or low-light drives

Key specifications

• Video resolution: Full HD 1080p
• Lens type: wide-angle
• GPS: integrated position and speed logging
• Night vision: low-light image enhancement
• G-sensor: automatic impact detection and file protection
• Form factor: compact, windshield-mountable design

How to use

Mount the dash cam on the windshield near the rear-view mirror using the supplied mount so the wide-angle lens has an unobstructed view of the road. Connect the device to vehicle power via the supplied cable and set the date and time; enable GPS logging if required. Insert a compatible microSD card (check card class and capacity compatibility) to allow continuous loop recording. During normal operation the dash cam records continuously while the vehicle is powered; if the G-sensor detects a sudden impact, the unit will automatically lock the current recording to prevent it from being overwritten.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term use, install the camera where it does not obstruct the driver’s view, periodically check recording quality and GPS signal, and use a high-quality microSD card with proper speed class to avoid dropped frames. Regularly back up critical recordings and format the card in the device according to the manufacturer’s instructions to maintain performance.
