Dataprojector Acer H6531BDi — DLP 1080p (1920x1080), 5200 ANSI-lumen, lamplichtbron, 3D, standaard-throw

The Acer H6531BDi is a standard-throw data projector with native Full HD DLP imaging at 1920×1080. Designed for environments that require bright, high-resolution projection, it delivers 5200 ANSI lumens from a lamp light source and supports 3D content as well as RS-232 control for integration with room control systems. Lamp service life is specified at 5000 hours in normal mode and up to 10000 hours in economic mode, making it suitable for classrooms, meeting rooms and auditoriums where clear, detailed projection is needed.

Advantages

The projector combines native 1080p resolution and DLP technology to produce sharp text and detailed images suitable for presentations and video playback. High brightness of 5200 ANSI lumens helps maintain image visibility in well-lit rooms. Lamp-based illumination offers consistent white balance and straightforward lamp replacement, while economic mode extends lamp life and reduces operating noise and power consumption. 3D support and RS-232 control add flexibility for varied installation and use cases.

Suitable for

• Classrooms and lecture halls that need readable text and clear images in ambient light
• Corporate meeting rooms and training spaces for presentations and video
• Small to medium auditoriums where a standard-throw installation is practical
• Installations requiring RS-232 control for centralized management

When it may not be suitable

This lamp-based projector may not be the best choice for users who require very low maintenance or prefer laser or LED light sources for longer continuous life and lower total cost of ownership. Likewise, if ultra-short-throw projection or extremely compact, portable form factors are required, a standard-throw installation such as this model may not meet those constraints.

Key specifications

• Projection technology: DLP
• Native resolution: 1920 × 1080 (Full HD)
• Brightness: 5200 ANSI lumens
• Light source: lamp with approx. 5000 h normal / 10000 h economic mode life
• 3D support: yes
• Control interfaces: RS-232 control support
• Throw type: standard throw

How to use

Mount the projector at the appropriate distance for a standard-throw image and connect to a video source using the available input ports. Adjust focus and keystone correction to achieve a rectangular, sharp image on the screen or projection surface. Select economic mode when lower brightness and longer lamp life are preferred. Use RS-232 for integration with room control systems or projectors' centralized management. For 3D content, enable 3D mode on both projector and source according to the content format and use compatible active or passive 3D glasses as required.

What to consider before purchase

• Room size and ambient light levels to confirm that 5200 ANSI lumens meets visibility needs
• Throw distance and screen size to ensure standard-throw placement is suitable
• Preference for lamp vs. laser/LED light sources regarding maintenance and lifetime
• Need for RS-232 control or 3D support in your installation

Recommendations

For best results, install the projector on a stable mount at the recommended throw distance, calibrate image geometry and color in the installed environment, and keep spare lamps on hand for high-use installations. Use economic mode for extended lamp life when maximum brightness is not required.
