Dätwyler Cat 6 S/FTP LSZH-patchkabel, RJ-45 naar RJ-45, 3 m, blauw 21.05.0034

Network downtime and slow data transfers often stem from poor-quality cabling that cannot handle high-speed traffic or electromagnetic interference. This Dätwyler Cat 6 S/FTP patch cable eliminates those issues, delivering a stable, high-performance link between your network devices. With a length of 3 metres, it provides the perfect reach for connecting computers, switches, routers, and other Ethernet-enabled equipment in offices, server rooms, and home networks.

Who is it for

This cable is ideal for IT professionals, network administrators, and home users who demand reliable gigabit connectivity. It suits environments where electromagnetic interference is a concern, such as industrial settings, data centres, or areas with dense cabling. The halogen-free jacket makes it a safe choice for public buildings, schools, and hospitals where fire safety regulations require low-smoke, zero-halogen materials.

Main features

• Cat 6 performance supports up to 1 Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) over 100 metres and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over shorter distances.
• S/FTP shielding: overall braid plus individual foil per pair ensures excellent protection against EMI and crosstalk.
• LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket reduces toxic smoke and corrosive gases in case of fire.
• RJ-45 male connectors on both ends, wired to TIA/EIA-568-B.2 (T568B) standard for universal compatibility.
• Durable blue jacket with snagless boots for easy identification and long-lasting performance.
• 4 twisted pairs of 26 AWG copper conductors for optimal signal integrity.

Tips

To maximise performance, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from power lines. For 10 Gigabit applications, keep the total length under 55 metres. The blue colour helps distinguish this cable from other network runs, simplifying troubleshooting and organisation.
