DC-holystekker-adapter DELOCK 5,5 x 2,5 mm bus-naar-bus met schroefhuls, 90° haaks, zwart

Compact DELOCK DC barrel jack adapter designed to convert or extend DC power connections. The adapter accepts 5.5 x 2.5 mm barrel plugs in a female-to-female configuration and includes an integrated threaded sleeve to secure the mating connector. Its 90° angled design helps reduce cable strain and improves routing options in confined installations. The adapter has a black finish and is intended for use with a variety of small electronics and power supplies where space is limited.

Advantages

The adapter provides a reliable mechanical connection through the threaded sleeve, which reduces the risk of accidental disconnection. The female-to-female configuration permits easy extension or orientation change of existing DC cables without modifying devices. The right-angle housing decreases bending stress at the connector and allows neater cable routing behind equipment. The compact, low-profile design minimizes obstruction in tight spaces while maintaining standard barrel jack dimensions for compatibility.

How to use

Insert a compatible 5.5 x 2.5 mm DC barrel plug into each female end of the adapter until the threaded sleeve engages. Tighten the sleeve by hand to ensure a secure mechanical connection; do not overtighten. Position the angled connector to align the cable routing as required for your installation. Verify the polarity and voltage compatibility of the connected power source and load before applying power.

Recommendations

Use the adapter only with matching 5.5 x 2.5 mm DC plugs and with power supplies and devices that share the same voltage and polarity. Avoid excessive mechanical force or bending near the adapter; secure cables where possible to prevent strain. Inspect the threaded sleeve and contacts periodically for wear or corrosion and replace the adapter if connection becomes loose or intermittent.
