DECT-telefoon Gigaset C575

The Gigaset C575 is a cordless DECT telephone combining a slim ergonomic design with practical phone functions for home or office use. It features a large 2.2" colour display with clear contrast and Jumbo mode for easy reading, an address book for up to 200 contacts (each with three numbers), caller ID and hands-free speakerphone operation. The C575A variant includes an integrated digital answering machine with up to 30 minutes of recording time. ECO DECT technology reduces transmission power based on distance and disables radiation in standby when supported by all registered handsets.

Advantages

The handset offers intuitive navigation via six menu symbols plus widely spaced illuminated keys, ensuring clear legibility of graphics and text. Personalisation options include multiple screen savers, colour schemes, two acoustic profiles and assignable ringtones including VIP tones. Contact management is simplified with programmable speed-dial keys, birthday reminders and the ability to exchange address book entries between registered Gigaset handsets. The device supports up to six handsets on one base for flexible placement around the home.

How to use

Charge the handset on the base until the battery indicator shows full. Use the navigation keys and the six menu symbols to access phone functions, address book and settings. Add contacts with name and up to three numbers, and assign speed-dial keys for frequent contacts. Activate Jumbo mode or change colour schemes via the display settings. To expand the system, register additional compatible Gigaset handsets to the base (up to six). For the C575A, access the answering machine from the handset or base to play, record or delete messages.

Recommendations

For best voice quality and minimal radiation, keep handsets close to the base when possible to allow ECO DECT to reduce transmission power. Use VIP tones and speed-dial settings to prioritise important contacts, and enable blacklist or anonymous-call blocking during quiet hours.
