DeLOCK 67155 kabel gender changer Mini DisplayPort DisplayPort zwart 0,3 m

The DeLOCK 67155 cable gender changer Mini DisplayPort DisplayPort Black 0.3m converts a Mini DisplayPort connector to a DisplayPort interface. With a compact 0.3 m length and a black exterior, this adapter cable provides a direct physical conversion between two common video connector standards while maintaining signal integrity through plated contacts. It is intended for short-range connections where a change of connector gender is required without adding active conversion electronics.

Advantages

This gender changer offers a compact form factor and a short cable length that reduce desk clutter and ensure tidy routing in tight spaces. Gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and help minimise signal degradation. The passive design ensures simple plug-and-play usage with no power supply or drivers needed, and the black finish blends unobtrusively with most monitor and computer setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop or device with Mini DisplayPort output to a monitor or cable with DisplayPort input
• Short extension or reorientation when connector genders differ
• Use in home offices, conference rooms, and workstation setups requiring a compact adapter

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.3 m
• Connector 1: Mini DisplayPort (male)
• Connector 2: DisplayPort (female)
• Product colour: Black
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts for enhanced conductivity
• Passive gender changer design, no active signal conversion

How to use

Insert the Mini DisplayPort end into the source device’s Mini DisplayPort output and connect the DisplayPort end to the destination cable or monitor input requiring a DisplayPort connection. Ensure both devices are powered and configured for the appropriate display output. Because the adapter is passive, no software installation is required; the connected devices should negotiate display settings automatically.

Recommendations

Use this short gender changer for close-range connections only; for longer runs, use a full-length DisplayPort cable to avoid potential signal loss. Inspect connectors for debris before mating and avoid excessive bending of the cable near the ends to prolong contact life.
