DeLOCK 87857 audiokabel 2 x RCA RJ-45 zwart rood wit

The DeLOCK 87857 audio cable combines two RCA male connectors with a female RJ-45 connector to enable audio connections between devices that use RCA outputs and equipment with RJ-45 audio input wiring. Constructed with 28 AWG conductors and finished in black, red and white, the cable is intended for straightforward analog audio transmission in consumer and professional setups where an RJ-45-terminated audio lead is required.

Advantages

This cable offers a compact solution for adapting stereo RCA connections to an RJ-45 audio wiring interface without additional adapters. The 28 AWG conductors provide reliable signal transfer for short to medium runs, and the color-coded connectors simplify identification of left and right channels. The female RJ-45 connector design allows integration with pre-wired RJ-45 audio panels or custom cabling systems.

Suitable for

• Connecting consumer stereo sources with RCA outputs to devices or wall plates wired with RJ-45 audio
• Home A/V systems where space-saving RJ-45 terminations are used
• Custom installations and retrofit projects that convert RCA stereo signals to an RJ-45 interface
• Testing or temporary setups requiring quick connection between RCA and RJ-45 audio wiring

Key specifications

• Connector A: 2 x RCA male (stereo)
• Connector B: RJ-45 female
• Conductor gauge: 28 AWG
• Signal type: Analog stereo audio
• Colours: Black cable with red and white connector identification

How to use

Plug the two RCA male connectors into the left and right outputs of the audio source, observing the red and white colour coding for proper channel assignment. Insert the RJ-45 female connector into the corresponding RJ-45 audio jack or patch panel; ensure the RJ-45 wiring in the destination device is configured to accept stereo analog signals. For reliable performance, keep cable runs short to medium length and avoid tightly coiling or bending the cable sharply.

Recommendations

Use the cable for direct analog stereo connections where an RJ-45 termination simplifies installation; avoid using it for digital signals or long-distance runs beyond typical analog cable limits. If interference or signal loss is observed, consider using shielded cabling or a low-impedance professional audio solution.
