DeLOCK actieve optische kabel DisplayPort 1.4 8K 50 m

This cable by Delock connects devices with a DisplayPort interface, such as monitors or TVs, to a PC or laptop. The DeLOCK Active Optical Cable DisplayPort 1.4 8K 50 m is an active optical DisplayPort cable with a 5.4 mm diameter, halogen-free construction and a length of 50 m, designed to transmit high-resolution video over long distances without signal loss.

Advantages

The active optical design enables reliable transmission of high-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.4 signals over 50 m while keeping the cable thin (5.4 mm diameter). Support for up to 8K resolution ensures compatibility with high-definition displays. The cable is halogen-free and fitted with DisplayPort connectors on both ends.

Suitable for

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device (PC or laptop) and the other connector to the DisplayPort input of the monitor or TV. Ensure both devices support DisplayPort 1.4 features required for the desired resolution and refresh rate. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid placing heavy objects on it. For best results, confirm display settings on the source device after connection.

Recommendations

Use the cable for long-distance DisplayPort connections where copper cables would suffer signal degradation. Verify that both source and display support the target resolution and refresh rate; update GPU or monitor drivers/firmware if necessary. Avoid tight bends and kinks to preserve the optical fibers inside.
