DeLOCK audiokabel 3 m XLR 3-polig USB Type-A zwart zilver 84178

This Delock converter cable allows connection of microphones with a balanced XLR 3-pin interface to a free USB-A port on a computer or other compatible system. The cable converts analogue microphone signals into digital audio at up to 24 bit / 192 kHz and includes a latch on the XLR connector for secure connection. The 3 m length and oxygen-free copper conductors provide stable transmission for studio and live applications.

Advantages

The cable supports +48 V phantom power via an onboard switch for use with compatible condenser microphones. Its flexible construction with OFC conductors and robust connectors is intended for professional audio use. High-resolution sampling (24 bit / 192 kHz) reduces background noise and preserves audio detail. The XLR latch ensures a reliable mechanical connection to the microphone.

Suitable for

• Connecting XLR microphones to computers with USB-A ports
• Home recording and podcasting
• Field recording and mobile setups where USB-A is available
• Small live-sound or rehearsal applications requiring a direct USB input

How to use

Connect the XLR end to a balanced microphone and insert the USB-A plug into an available USB-A port on your computer or compatible device. If using a condenser microphone that requires phantom power, enable the +48 V switch on the cable before recording. The system should detect the converter as a USB audio input; select it in your operating system or audio software as the input device and configure sample rate and bit depth to match the cable's capabilities.

Recommendations

For systems with only USB-C ports, use a compatible USB-C to USB-A adapter (for example Delock adapter 65519) to connect this cable. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources to maintain best audio quality.
