DeLOCK glasvezel-hybridekoppeling LC-duplex stekker naar SC-duplex koppeling blauw

This DeLOCK LC Duplex male to SC Duplex female hybrid coupling enables conversion between LC and SC connector types, allowing LC and SC optical fiber cables to be connected directly. The compact device has a metal and plastic housing and is suitable for mounting in optical fiber connection boxes, cabinets and patch panels. The product includes a dust cover to protect the sleeve and keep the connection clean.

Advantages

The hybrid coupling provides a simple mechanical conversion between LC Duplex male and SC Duplex female connectors without additional adapters. Its combination of metal and plastic components offers stable performance and durability while maintaining a compact form factor suitable for space-constrained installations. The included dust cap prevents contamination of the sleeve during storage or when not in use.

How to use

Insert the LC Duplex male connector into the LC side of the coupling and then connect the SC Duplex cable to the SC side until a secure fit is achieved. If mounting in a patch panel or connection box, secure the coupling according to the panel’s or box’s mounting method. When the coupling is not in use, place the supplied dust cover over the sleeve to protect it from dust and debris.

Recommendations

Handle optical connectors carefully and avoid touching the ferrule surfaces. Clean connectors and the coupling sleeve with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before making permanent connections to ensure optimal signal transmission.
