DeLOCK glasvezel-verdeelbox FTTH binnen-wandmontage 8 poorten wit

The DeLOCK Fiber Optic Distribution Box FTTH indoor wall mount 8 port white is a wall-mountable enclosure for organizing and protecting indoor fiber optic cables and couplings. Constructed from ABS material, it provides space for up to eight SC Simplex or LC Duplex couplings and separates the splice area from the cable entry to maintain orderly fiber routing and reduce the risk of crossover.

Advantages

The distribution box offers a dedicated splice tray for clean routing of individual fibers, a separated cable connection area to prevent crossover between splice and entry points, and compatibility with common SC Simplex and LC Duplex couplings. Its compact dimensions (127 mm × 193 mm × 46 mm) and ABS construction make it suitable for indoor residential or commercial installations.

How to use

Mount the distribution box on a suitable indoor wall surface using appropriate screws and anchors. Route incoming fiber cables through the designated cable entry, secure them, and place individual fibers into the integrated splice tray for fusion splicing or mechanical splices. Install the SC Simplex or LC Duplex couplings into the front openings and connect patch cords as required. Ensure fibers are routed without sharp bends and that splice points are fixed within the tray to avoid movement.

Recommendations

Use appropriate protective equipment when handling fibers, verify fiber identification and test optical links after installation. Avoid tight bends and excessive tension on fibers; keep the splice tray closed during normal operation to protect splices from dust and mechanical disturbance.
