DeLOCK kabelwartel 90° gehoekt PG16 zwart trekontlasting

The DeLOCK Cable Gland 90° angled PG16 black strain relief provides a watertight cable or tube entry into enclosures while managing cable stress and preventing excessive bending. Made of durable black plastic, its angled shape is designed for installations with limited space and for applications that require reliable sealing and mechanical protection.

Advantages

The angled PG16 design enables space-saving installation and guided cable routing. A screw-on strain relief secures the cable against pull-out and reduces bending stress, maintaining cable position under vibration. The IP68 rating ensures protection against dust and temporary submersion, and the plastic construction offers chemical and corrosion resistance suitable for industrial environments.

Suitable for

• Machine and equipment enclosures requiring sealed cable entry
• Automation and robotics installations with limited space
• Industrial installations exposed to dust and moisture

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model/MPN: 60597
• EAN: 4043619605972
• Type: 90° angled cable gland
• Thread size: PG16
• Material: Plastic (black)
• Protection class: IP68 (dust and waterproof)
• Feature: Screw-on strain relief for bending and pull-out protection

How to use

Drill or use the existing PG16 threaded hole in the enclosure, insert the angled cable gland and screw it in until secure. Pass the cable through the gland and tighten the screw-on strain relief to clamp the cable, ensuring the cable is fixed and bending is restricted. Verify the seal and strain relief under the expected operating conditions, and re-tighten if necessary after initial vibration exposure.

Recommendations

Use the gland with cables that match the PG16 entry diameter; ensure threads and sealing surfaces are clean before installation. For permanent outdoor or submerged applications, periodically inspect the seal and strain relief for wear or damage and replace if compromised.
