DeLOCK kabelwartel 90° haaks PG16 grijs trekontlasting

The DeLOCK Cable Gland 90° angled PG16 in grey provides a watertight lead-through for cables and electrical conduits and is designed for installations with limited space. Made of durable plastic, it combines a compact angled form with an integrated strain relief spiral to secure flexible cables and protect them from excessive bending.

Advantages

The angled 90° design enables installations where straight glands would not fit, while the built-in bend protection spiral reduces stress on cable jackets at the entry point. The product is rated IP68 for dust and waterproofing, offering increased protection against dirt and moisture. The plastic construction ensures corrosion resistance and a lightweight solution suitable for industrial environments.

Suitable for

• Routing cables in confined installation spaces
• Automation and robotics equipment
• Industrial machinery and control cabinets
• Electrical conduits requiring IP68 sealing

How to use

Mount the gland into the housing opening matching the PG16 thread, route the cable through the gland and tighten the locking nut according to the enclosure’s requirements to achieve a secure, watertight seal. Ensure the bend protection spiral is positioned around the cable at the enclosure entry so it can absorb movement and prevent excessive cable bending. Verify the IP68 seal after installation if required by the application.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, use the gland within its intended cable diameter range and avoid sharp kinks in the cable before and after the bend protection spiral. Periodically inspect the seal and strain relief when used in environments with strong mechanical stress, chemicals or prolonged moisture exposure.
