DeLOCK lichtgolfgeleider-kabelconnector LC Duplex bus-naar-bus waterdicht

The DeLOCK Optical Fiber Cable Connector LC Duplex female to female waterproof is a protective coupler that joins two LC duplex optical fiber cables. Designed for outdoor and harsh environments, it provides a sealed connection that helps maintain signal integrity and prevents contamination from dust and moisture. The black, compact body is compatible with standard LC connectors and supports high-speed data transmission where a reliable fiber link is required.

Advantages

The waterproof IP68 rating ensures long-term protection against dust and water ingress. The female-to-female LC duplex design allows straightforward extension or reconfiguration of fiber runs without altering cable ends. Its rugged construction increases resistance to dirt and moisture, reducing the need for frequent maintenance in outdoor installations.

Suitable for

• Extending or repairing LC duplex fiber optic runs
• Outdoor fiber connections exposed to dust or water
• Industrial and telecommunication field installations

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC Duplex female — female
• Protection rating: IP68 (dust and waterproof)
• Colour: Black
• Brand / MPN / EAN: DELOCK / 87874 / 4043619878741

How to use

Ensure both fiber cable ends are clean and free of debris before connecting. Align the LC duplex connectors and insert each cable into the corresponding female ports until they click or seat securely. Verify the connection by testing signal continuity or link status on the network equipment. When deployed outdoors, place the coupler in a location that avoids unnecessary mechanical stress on the cables.

Recommendations

For best performance, clean fiber endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools prior to mating and inspect connections periodically. Avoid bending the fiber cables beyond their minimum bend radius and secure cables to prevent strain at the coupler.
