DeLOCK optische vezelkoppeling MPO bus naar MPO bus zwart

The DeLOCK Optical Fiber Coupler MPO female to MPO female provides a compact solution for joining two MPO fiber optic cables. Housed in a black plastic body, the coupler is intended for straightforward installation in fiber distribution boxes, cabinets, HD cassettes and patch panels, allowing a direct optical connection while helping to preserve signal integrity in high-speed data transmission environments.

Advantages

The coupler supports direct mating of two MPO female connectors and is finished in a durable black plastic housing. Its small dimensions (19.8 mm × 25 mm × 9.8 mm) make it suitable for space-constrained installations. An included dust cap protects the internal sleeve from contamination, helping to maintain optical performance.

How to use

Align each MPO female connector of the fiber cables with the corresponding side of the coupler and push gently until the connectors are fully seated. If mounted in a cassette, patch panel or enclosure, position the coupler securely according to the enclosure's mounting method. Keep the supplied dust cap fitted to the unused side when the coupler is not in active use to avoid contamination.

Recommendations

Before connection, inspect and, if necessary, clean MPO connector end faces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools. Store and transport the coupler with the dust cap in place to prevent dust ingress. Avoid excessive bending or mechanical stress on connected fiber cables to preserve signal quality.
