DeLOCK PCI Express x2 kaart naar 2 x RJ45 2.5 Gigabit LAN i225

The DeLOCK PCI Express x2 Card to 2 x RJ45 2.5 Gigabit LAN i225 provides two wired network ports with a maximum data transfer rate of up to 2500 Mbps. It connects to a system through a PCI Express x2 slot and features a stainless steel finish for increased durability.

Advantages

The card supports NBASE-T technology allowing automatic negotiation of higher speeds (1 Gbps and 2.5 Gbps) over conventional Ethernet cabling. With two RJ45 ports it enables dual LAN connections or network redundancy without additional adapters. How to use

Power off the computer and open the case according to the manufacturer's instructions. Insert the card into an available PCI Express x2 (or compatible x4/x8/x16) slot and secure it in place. Close the case, power on the system and install any required drivers provided by the operating system or DELOCK. Connect network cables to the RJ45 ports and verify link activity and negotiated speed in the network settings of your operating system.

Recommendations

To achieve 2.5 Gbps speeds, use high-quality Cat5e or better cabling and ensure the connected switch or router supports 2.5G NBASE-T. For optimal stability, install the latest drivers from DELOCK and confirm the PCI Express slot provides the required lanes.
