DeLOCK telefoonkabel 5 m zwart 88481 RJ-11 RJ-45

The DeLOCK telephone cable 5 m Black 88481 is a coiled connection cable with RJ-11 and RJ-45 connectors designed to link analogue devices and ISDN sockets. With a 5 m nominal length in relaxed state and a black finish, it is intended for telephones, routers, modems and splitters to provide reliable voice and data connections in home and office environments.

Advantages

The coiled design reduces storage space and prevents cable tangling while allowing flexible extension of the cable when needed. The cable maintains a high restoring force so it retracts after use and helps keep workspaces tidy. Having both RJ-11 and RJ-45 terminations makes the cable compatible with a variety of analogue and ISDN telephone and networking devices.

How to use

Plug the RJ-11 or RJ-45 connector into the corresponding socket on your telephone, modem, router or splitter and insert the other end into the wall ISDN or analogue telephone socket. Ensure connectors are fully seated to secure a stable voice or data link. When not in use, allow the cable to retract to its coiled form to reduce clutter.

Recommendations

Use the cable in indoor environments and avoid excessive pulling beyond its elastic limit. Keep the connectors clean and protect them from moisture. For permanent network installations, consider a fixed straight cable if a coiled cable’s retracting feature is not required.
