DeLOCK Woven Sleeve zelfsluitend hittebestendig 2 m x 16 mm geel

The DeLOCK Woven Sleeve is a self-closing, heat-resistant sleeve designed to bundle and protect cables, electrical tubes and wires from dirt, abrasion and heat. Made of woven polyester fibres (monofilament and multifilament), it provides increased flame resistance and abrasion resistance while remaining flexible and suitable for repeated insertion and removal of cables. The sleeve measures 2 m in length and 16 mm in diameter and is coloured yellow.

Advantages

The woven construction with continuous mono- and multifilament fibres increases flame resistance and abrasion protection. The sleeve is self-closing so cables can be added or removed multiple times without additional fasteners. It is cuttable to length with a hot cutting tool for a clean, sealed end. The material tolerates a wide temperature range, making it suitable for applications where heat resistance is required.

Suitable for

• Bundling and protecting cable harnesses
• Organising electrical wiring in machines or vehicles
• Protecting cables from abrasion in confined spaces
• Applications requiring heat-resistant cable sleeving

How to use

Push the cables into the open end of the woven sleeve; the self-closing weave will contract around the cables to hold them in place. For multiple cables, open the sleeve slightly and insert the bundle, then allow the sleeve to close. To shorten the sleeve to the required length, cut it and seal the cut edge with a hot cutting tool to prevent fraying. The sleeve allows repeated addition and removal of cables as needed.

Recommendations

For best results, select a sleeve diameter slightly larger than the combined cable bundle diameter. When cutting and sealing the ends, work in a well-ventilated area and use appropriate personal protective equipment. Avoid prolonged exposure beyond the specified temperature range.
