Deurvastzetter Rittal 4583.500 voor server- en netwerkkasten, zilver, 1 stuk

The Rittal door stay 4583.500 is a single-piece accessory for server and network racks, supplied in a silver finish. It provides controlled holding for cabinet doors to keep them open during maintenance or equipment installation. The design focuses on straightforward installation and reliable mechanical support, making it suitable for standard rack enclosures where a durable door holding solution is required.

Advantages

The door stay offers stable and predictable door retention without the need for complex mechanisms. Its metal construction ensures durability and resistance to repeated use in data center or network room environments. Delivered as a single unit, it integrates with common rack door designs to reduce accidental closure during servicing and to facilitate safer handling of rack-mounted equipment.

How to use

Mount the door stay to the cabinet frame and the door using appropriate screws or fasteners compatible with the rack design and material. Position it so the stay engages when the door is opened to the desired working angle; test the engagement gently to confirm stable holding. Ensure fasteners are tightened to manufacturer-recommended torque for the rack components and verify that the stay does not obstruct door movement or airflow paths in the enclosure.

Recommendations

Use standard rack-compatible fasteners and check alignment before final tightening. Inspect the door stay periodically for signs of wear or loose fasteners, especially in high-traffic installations. If door movement feels restricted or the stay no longer holds reliably, replace the unit to maintain safe and effective operation.
