DEVI iceguard 18 zelfregulerende verwarmingskabel 18/36 W/m 750m trommel

Frozen pipes, ice-clogged gutters, and slippery outdoor surfaces can cause serious damage and safety hazards during cold weather. The DEVI iceguard 18 self-regulating heating cable delivers reliable frost protection exactly where it’s needed, automatically adjusting its heat output to ambient conditions. Supplied on a 750 m drum, it can be cut to length on site, making it ideal for large-scale or custom installations.

Who is it for

This heating cable is built for professional electricians, facility managers, and homeowners who need robust, energy-efficient freeze protection for pipes, roofs, gutters, and outdoor areas. It’s especially suited for projects where long, uninterrupted cable runs are required and where installation flexibility is a priority.

Main features

• Self-regulating technology: power output varies with temperature (18 W/m at +10°C, 36 W/m at 0°C) for optimized energy use and overheat protection.
• Long 750 m drum: ideal for extensive installations, can be cut to exact lengths on site without waste.
• Durable construction: UV-resistant modified polyolefin outer jacket and tinned copper braid for mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
• Wide operating range: withstands exposure up to +85°C (power off) and installation down to -20°C.
• Compliance: CE and VDE approved, ensuring safety and quality standards.

Tips

For optimal performance, always use DEVI termination kits to ensure a watertight seal and reliable electrical connection. Plan your cable layout carefully to avoid overlaps and ensure even heat distribution. When installing on roofs or gutters, secure the cable with appropriate clips at regular intervals to prevent movement from snow or ice.
