Diffusieschijf EUROLITE Theatre 200 40° – diffusie-accessoire voor Theatre 200 lamp, 40° stralingshoek

Diffuser Disc EUROLITE Theatre 200 40° is an optical diffusion accessory made to fit the Theatre 200 fixture and produce a controlled 40° light spread. The disc modifies the beam profile to reduce hotspots and create a smoother, wider output without changing the fixture's electronics. It is intended for stage, theatre and studio situations where a more even wash or softened edge is required while keeping the original mounting and aiming of the Theatre 200 luminaire.

Advantages

The diffuser delivers a consistent 40° spread that softens beam edges and diminishes harsh spots, improving visual comfort for performers and audiences. As a passive optical element, it installs quickly and does not affect the fixture's power, color mixing or internal controls. The design maintains secure attachment and alignment with the Theatre 200, enabling reliable repeatable results during rigging and focusing. The disc is lightweight and engineered for minimal impact on thermal performance and mechanical balance.

How to use

Attach the Diffuser Disc to the Theatre 200 following the fixture manufacturer's accessory mounting instructions. Position the disc so it is centered over the lens or beam aperture; secure it in place and refocus the fixture if necessary to achieve the desired wash. The diffuser can be fitted and removed during routine rigging, and it does not require electrical connection. After installation, perform a visual check in the intended environment to confirm the 40° spread meets coverage and uniformity needs, and make minor adjustments to aiming or focus as required.

Recommendations

Use the diffuser for scenes or shots that demand softer light and reduced specular hotspots. When using multiple Theatre 200 fixtures with discs, align beam centers and test overlap to avoid unintended dark bands. Store the disc in a protective case when not in use to prevent scratches or deformation of the optical surface.
