Diffusieschijf EUROLITE Theatre 200 60° voor theaterverlichtingsarmaturen

Diffuser Disc EUROLITE Theatre 200 60° for theatrical lighting fixtures is an optical accessory designed to modify the beam of compatible theatre luminaires. The disc produces a 60° diffusion angle that softens light output, reduces visible hotspots and creates a smoother, more even wash across stages, sets and event areas. It is intended for use with the EUROLITE Theatre 200 series and offers a simple way to change the fixture's beam characteristics without replacing the lamp or primary optics.

Advantages

The 60° diffuser disc provides controlled light scattering that evens out intensity across the illuminated area while preserving overall brightness. By reducing sharp edges and bright spots, it helps achieve consistent color mixing and a more natural transition between lit and unlit zones. The accessory is compact, lightweight and easy to install or remove, enabling quick adaptation of stage lighting to different scenes and layouts.

How to use

Install the diffuser disc according to the mounting method of your EUROLITE Theatre 200 fixture, ensuring the disc is seated securely and aligned with the fixture aperture. Power the fixture and check the beam on a test surface to confirm the desired spread and softness. Remove or replace the disc when a different beam characteristic is required or when cleaning is necessary. Always follow the fixture manufacturer's safety instructions, allow the lamp and housing to cool before handling optical accessories, and avoid touching the diffuser surface with bare hands to prevent soiling.

Recommendations

For consistent results, test the diffuser disc in combination with color gels or filters to verify color mixing and intensity. Clean the disc with a soft, lint-free cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner when cooled and detached from the fixture. Store flat in a protective sleeve to prevent scratches and deformation.
